What is Contours Adventure?
Contours Adventure is project which at its heart is a collection of UK adventure stories aimed to inform and inspire. There are two factors which make us a unique adventure finding tool for the curious mind. Firstly, all the content is community contributed, anybody can submit a story in the form of video, written or even audio based and have it featured. The best thing about this format is that it allows the articles to be relatable which goes a long way towards inspiring people give something a go themselves.
Secondly, not only do we add any content to our browsable database, but each story is also plotted on an interactive map, allowing users to easily find and filter different adventure activities in specific parts of the UK. Why is a project like Contours Adventure important?

How can I support the project?
Contours is still very much in its infancy but we have so much we want to accomplish and support from the adventure community will go a long way to help us achieve this. There are a few ways in which you can be involved:
Become a Patron (£2 per month). Creating and maintaining the website requires considerable time, effort and resources. By pledging financial support, you will not only be instrumental in ensuring the longevity of our platform but also allows us to push forward improving the user experience. Some of the software/technological areas we would like to explore going forward include: Self hosting video content, development of an app and adding an element of ecommerce. 2. Contribute a story (Free). The building blocks of Contours Adventure user submitted adventure stories. What better way to support us than provide us with your own tales of adventure for us to help grow the project,

We understand that not everyone may be able to financially contribute as a patron, or have the time/resources to submit content, but we encourage you to spread the word about Contours Adventure.
